Sign In, Take Over the Computer, and Connect Tools

You will get a Bot past a login screen safely, and install a connector for a supported tool.

Try this first task

Copy it, paste it into your Bot, and see one real result before you read on.

First task
Open [site] in the Agent Computer browser.
If a login, 2FA, or CAPTCHA screen appears, stop and tell me. I will take over, sign in, and give control back.
After that, read the page I ask for and report what you see. Change nothing.

Steps

    Open the Agent Computer

    When the Bot reaches a login wall, open Agent Computer from the conversation. You will see the same browser the Bot is using.

  2. 2

    Take over

    Take over control so your clicks and typing go to that browser instead of the Bot's.

  3. 3

    Sign in yourself

    Type the password, complete 2FA, and solve any CAPTCHA yourself. Never paste passwords into the chat.

    Return control

    Hand control back and tell the Bot to continue. It picks up from the signed-in page.

  5. 5

    Know that the session is shared

    All your Bots share one cloud computer, so that browser session stays available for other Bots too. Sign out of anything you do not want reused.

    Install a connector for supported tools

    Go to Settings, then Plugins, and install the connector you need. A connector is cleaner than a browser login when one exists.

Outcome: a list of this week's open support tickets.
Sources: our helpdesk in the shared browser.
Constraints: read only. If you hit a login or 2FA screen, stop and tell me,
  and I will take over the Agent Computer. Do not reply to any ticket.
Deliverable: a table with ticket title, age in days, and status.

Good to know

  • Do not approve sending emails, messaging people, or changing account settings until you have watched the Bot work a few times.

If something goes wrong

The Bot is stuck on a CAPTCHA

  • — Open the Agent Computer, take over, solve it, return control.

The Bot signed into the wrong account

  • — Take over, sign out, sign in with the right account, then return control. Remember other Bots use the same session.
